Event: International Biennale of Visual Arts - The Blue Biennale 2024

The Blue Biennale is a biennale of contemporary art that wants to reposition Brasov visually on a cultural map, both national and international; to create a stage for the development of current artistic manifestations, to be a laboratory of the visual experiment, as well as to capitalize on their creators and creations as to show the target of contemporary art.
Biography
Adina Potop is a creator of abstract figurative art based in Romania. Her academic formation is one of a philologist, therefore her paintings are profoundly infused with poetry.
Potop’s explorations revolve around themes of identity, growth and transformation. Through vibrant layers, bold textures and fluid movements, her work captures the beauty of becoming, the tension between who we are and who we are meant to be.
Potop’s paintings are part of private collections throughout Europe and the United States.
