About Adam Collier Noel

  • Biography
Creating art has always been a part of my life. From an early age I was given private watercolor lessons and excelled in my high school art classes. This artistic trajectory led me to pursue a BFA in photography from Herron School of Art. After graduation I opened Adam Collier Noel Studio and continued to combine photography with various mixed-media techniques. My photography-based artwork has evolved to include the appropriation of vintage found images and their relationship to the contemporary world through the lens of popular culture. Blue prints, letters of correspondence, receipts, book pages, etc. are often collaged with these photographs to create nostalgic works of art. Most recently my abstract paintings explore formal compositional elements and bold color theory applications to achieve a rhythmic balance. Since moving to Fort Lauderdale I have become a gallery director at the prestigious MAC Art Galleries where I work daily with private clients and artists. I have been selling my personal artwork through Rossetti Gallery in south Florida, Saatchi Art, and MAC Art. My passion for art continues to be a driving force in my life, and my daily studio discipline allows me to hone my craft.
