Original artwork description:
I painted this picture in March 2022, at the moment when my country started a war with Ukraine. I am against war and consider it legal against the people of my country and the people of Ukraine. Almost every family has marriages between our peoples; I myself traveled to this wonderful country 5 times with wonderful people, my friends from Ukraine. And I observe far from the scene of events, now I live in Spain, on an island in the Mediterranean Sea, and I acutely experience these tragic events.
There was a desire to depict a ship united by the flags of our countries, because all people are similar, speak the same language, and grew up in the same culture. The painting is painted on cotton canvas with oil paints and varnished. It is completely ready to hang on the wall, I paint the side paintings as an extension of the painting so it doesn't need to be framed.
