Original artwork description:

The big scale original acrylic painting depicts a still life set with home plants and lemons. I turn my attention to everyday life in order to stop it for the viewer, inviting him to contemplate and comprehend the present moment and himself. This is a kind of a stop at great speed, when everyday life suddenly acquires its own voice and mystery.

There is a dialogue between the conditional and the concrete. I use this technique to introduce the idea of suggestivity of our personal reality: some objects, passed through the prism of memories and emotions, are blurred, turning into an illusion, others come to the fore, gaining clear contours and weight, it is no longer clear where is objective reality and where is our assumption about it.

My author's technique consists of multiple layers of acrylic painting applied with brushes on crumpled canvas, oil pastels strikes and washings. I am studying the transformation of material and creating the artwork in the dialogue between my intention and the unpredictable force of material in the art process, that is why you can see the free flow of paint next to more realistic "controlled" images. This practice helps me to learn how to follow the flow of uncontrolled chaos and build a new order inside of it.

This painting will be shipped unframed, rolled in the tube. Full size of the unstretched canvas with image is 100x134cm, once it is stretched on stretcher bars the painting size will be about 94x128cm, the sides will result covered around by painting. Final size could slightly vary depending on chosen stretcher bars.

The artwork will be dispatched within 14 days.
Any international shipment may be liable to Customs and Excise Duty as well as Value Added Tax payments.
