Original artwork description:

My surreal paintings are inspired by nature and the fact that we come from it. I am intrigued by both, nature and the meaning of our own existence. The more connected we are to nature, the better we can understand ourselves. The stand where this bonsai sits has drawers that are impossible to exist in real life. Not only the top open ones are unable to occupy the same space when closed, but the lower ones are interconnected in such a way that would make them impossible to open. The contrast between the crumpled paper against the flat paper create a duality. In spite of such impossibleness and oppositional objects, the bonsai plays the role of bringing everything together and creating harmony. No matter how complicated our lives may be, nature always saves us as long as we allow it and we are able to find meaning and growth.

This painting is not framed but the sides were painted so it could hang without a frame but it would also look nice with a frame (frame not included). It has a depth of 0.75 in.
