This picture was painted with oil paints using the alla-prima technique. For this still-life I chose garden flowers, roses and blue hibiscus, because they remind me of summer, blooming fields with flowers and fragrant herbs. I tried to convey the soft sun on the petals. The painting is cozy and warm, painted from life.
