This painting came about during January, 2016, where I woke up to see sunrise for 25 mornings. I woke up at sunrise as a way to cope with the presidential turn-over -- to be sure the sky was not falling, and that we would survive. Some mornings I photographed the sky, some I did not, but all of them worked together to compose this painting.
