Original artwork description:

Ink on paper mounted on wooden panel.
With certificate of authenticity. Ready to hang, unframed.

Drawing selected as a finalist in the 2024 Diffusion culturelle de Lévis artwork competition.

Drawing of a tree with a fantastic tree structure. Made with Indian ink. Sumie-inspired, the spontaneous composition of the drawing gradually emerges over the traced shapes. By using water in a suitable way on the paper, I provoke the spontaneous reactions of the ink to create bushy foliage and natural patterns.

Original monochrome work signed on the front and back.

The drawing will be carefully packaged and secured in a sturdy cardboard box and layers of protection - certified acid-free paper and PE foams.

Materials used:

ink
