This painting tries to capture the depth of blue and green of the Mediterranean Sea on a bright and sunny day. The essence of spending the day on the beach and watching people in the sea and the surrounding coastline. This particular part of the coast had a small island of rock about 1km out to sea which appeared to float on the surface.
