Original artwork description:

Despite living on the outskirts of London, I am lucky enough to live within walking distance of a beautiful man-made lake, which has provided inspiration for many of my paintings. This scene shows a mellow yellow evening sky, complemented by a tree line painted contre-jour in mars violet. These complementary colours help to harmonise the scene creating a peaceful and tranquil place for the viewer to rest one's gaze.

The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness on a fully-archival wooden panel measuring 12 in by 9 in, which will fit many off-the-shelf frames.

The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. It is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

All paintings are unframed unless otherwise stated.

I endeavour to estimate shipping charges as accurately as possible. In the event of overcharging, I will refund the difference through Artfinder, and will bear the cost of any undercharging myself.

Outside of the UK and America there may be local duty / tax. If so, this is payable by the collector prior to delivery - the postal service/courier for your country will request payment if any is due. VAT on art imports is usually at a reduced rate compared with general VAT ratings.

Thank you for looking.
