Three Dancers

I used to play piano at ballet and contemporary dance class throughout my university years. It helped pay for university. My job was to improvise to their movement so I got to know how big the leaps the swirls the steps the pace of dancing in all its many styles. This is what I want to capture when painting dancers is that energy I came to know and understand. I want to capture motion in the painting so I scrape and layer on paint till I feel that same movement I used to see as a pianist.

The oil painting comes stretched to a deep edged canvas ready to hang with or without outer frame.
