Metaphorical monochrome artwork, produced on site in the cemetery of Saint-Nicolas. The artist first placed the different natural elements of the site on the painting and then painted with passion what the cemetery inspired him. With hindsight and a break of a few days, the work revealed faces to the artist's eyes which, by just a few additional touches, became visible to the observer. Ultimately, these deformed faces evoke the influence of time on the memory that we keep of our deceased, a memory that fades and changes like the shore eroded by the river.
