Mountains have always one of my biggest source of inspiration for my collages. Probably because I was born in Grenoble (France), right at the feet of the Alps. A 52 centimeters baby looking up to 3000 meters high mountains...

I believe mountains have a healing power. No matter what happen, they remain strong, steady. They're something we can always count on, growing millimeters per millimeter each year under the pressure of the tectonic plates. They go through the seasons without ever getting tired of it, exploding of green shades in summer while modestly adorning a pure white mantel in winter.

Throughout my life I've been facing some hard loss and tough experiences, but the mountains were always there for me, watching on me, making me smile whenever I caught a glance at their majestic beauty.
