Original artwork description:

I developed a passion for painting birds when I lived in Guatemala, the country is rich with tropical flora and fauna and I was lucky enough to live in a very tropical area where I would be woken early by beautiful bird song. Hummingbirds were a regular sighting in my garden and a (patient) trip deeper into the jungle would be rewarded with sightings of toucans and macaws.
