I think I loved almost every minute spent painting this piece. I had this curiosity, being mesmerized by Klimt's paintings, at how it feels to work with gold paints and gold papers and mixing it with the oil paints. Thinking about the process of making it, I wanted to be in, to be as close as Klimt was when creating his magical surreal art. Well, the process is fantastic, is more dynamic and the eye is always warmly touched by the sparks of the gold. Who doesn't love the early mornings at the seaside, when the water is a dance of silver and gold reflections?


If you prefer not paying for the shipment, I can remove the canvas from the stretcher, roll it up and ship it in a tube. When you are in the possession of the rolled canvas, you'll need to have it remounted on wood stretcher at a framing store. If so, please contact me.
