Original artwork description:

The Blue Waves is a commissioned painting and was inspired by Genya's Waves Triptych paintings. The collector desired to have all three paintings on one canvas however with a deep blue background color that is more intense in the center of the painting and fades away towards the sides.

Genya provided sketches with his compositional ideas to the collector and completion timeline.

This painting will look absolutely stunning in a minimalistic or contemporary setting and is a perfect decorative element for someone who loves the power of the natural world.

This commissioned painting was finished in the month of October 2021 and was done in acrylic paints which he prepares from mineral pigments in the studio.
Genya personally stretched and and primed the 100% heavy Belgian linen canvas with Bologna gesso and tempera.
