A single sunflower, which can symbolise so many things, to me sunflowers always look like groups of people, united in hope or some similar sentiment. And when they all wilt at the same time they just look sad and disappointed. For me, sunflowers represent happiness, sunshine, warm air, summer holidays in France with my family when I was little, long car journeys listening to Queen.
