Original artwork description:

The seeds from the horse-chestnut tree, not edible but once used for the game of conkers, which children used to love. You don't see them playing this game anymore, but they still remind me of childhood. This little group came from a neighbour's tree, and they are attractive when fresh, like shiny mahogany.

This painting comes with an ivory coloured mount, and is cellophane wrapped before packing for postage

Materials used:

Cold pressed watercolour paper
