Artwork description:

Silver-studded Blue [Linocut]
A new print for 2022
Inspired by trips to Westleton Heath in Suffolk to see the Silver-studded Blue butterflies, a nationally scarce species that depends on a lowland heath habitat which has become increasingly under threat

Print measurement - 20 x 30cm (actual printed area)
Somerset Satin Printmaking Paper 300gsm (white)

These prints are produced by silkscreening the coloured background and then printing a 'key block' (the black layer) which is a hand-carved lino block, over the top
Because of the handmade nature of these prints, each print may vary slightly

They are all hand signed and numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity

A white paper border has been left (with a deckle edge)

A donation (£10) from the sale of each print will be donated to Butterfly Conservation, to contribute towards the work that they do to preserve the habitats for butterflies and moths in the UK

Postage within the UK is free

*Series of 80*
