Like some of my 2024 paintings, this is an expressive and gestural painting inspired by patterns, shapes and colours of the shoreline.

Shells, seaweed and driftwood, rocks and pebbles on the beach, left behind, reappear and get covered again or get crushed into sand.

It is a constant circle of life, fracturing and rebuilding, disintegrating and regenerating over time, sometimes outstandingly beautiful reflecting man and nature.
