The elements composing the artwork are everyday objects that I observed, combined, and photographed on a travertine surface, with the intention of capturing in a harmonious and balanced composition colors, shapes, lights and shadows, transparencies, and opacities.
The red elements (the wine glass, the embroidered flowers on the cushion of the Tibetan bell, the glass vase) serve as a common thread emphasized by the red brocade fabric at the base. This fabric also aims to evoke the atmosphere of ancient noble environments, thus representing a bridge between contemporaneity and the historical past to which I am deeply connected. The contemporaneity and transience of the present moment are suggested by perishable elements such as citrus fruits and by my image reflecting blurred on the Tibetan bell, providing a sense of personal connection with the artwork itself.
