Tracing memories, going back in time and looking to the future. Layer on layer, a cartography of what had happened, and now moving forwards. This painting was made over the period of around 6 months, starting with layers of bitumen and later adding Oil and varnish. The painting visibly maintains the scars and traces of the layers underneath.
