I bought a skirt in a charity shop to make into a pair of trousers, but before I did, I filmed myself dancing with it on. I have always been drawn to women’s clothing, and I can feel a sense of fear in myself to wear things in public. I drew this picture to capture a sense of exploration and the beauty of shapes , colour and movement - the simple elements that are left when the other labels we’ve attached are taken away.
oil pastels, ink
