This year, in February, I found myself in a real greenhouse with blooming azaleas in the Botanical Garden. It's like another parallel of life where you find yourself in a fabulous place in the middle of a cold winter. I used to draw quick sketches from nature and now I can't help but draw them at home from photographs. I like the plasticity and transparency of the petals or, on the contrary, their rich colour. I am attracted to their proud and yet delicate beauty. I've seen many different colours of azaleas, but this one is special because I love red.

My watercolour flowers are very harmoniously combined with each other and can be arranged in a diptych or triptych. Combine them and arrange them as you like. I have collected the entire series in the Flowers 30x30 collection.
