Original artwork description:
Ranunculus are cheery flowers that bloom in the spring and early summer. When I first painted this, all the flowers were upright. When I came in to my studio the next day to continue working, a couple of the flowers were drooping and I liked it a lot better so I made the change to finish this happy painting.
