Artwork description:

This monotype print is inspired from a journey into the Quantocks just outside Taunton. During a cycle ride in the Quantocks I followed a hare along a bridleway and it showed me a pathway into the hills of the Quantocks. This image explores the bridleway as I walked up the hill, deeper into the Quantocks. The path was made of rocks and stones, covered by the foliage of the trees.

The monotype print is monochrome and uses the initial sketch to create a semi-abstract print of the pathway.

Sometimes interesting places are found when you follow a hare...

Materials used:

Printing Ink on 300gsm Printing Paper
