Short stories told in a few shapes and colors.. Sometimes inspired by what I see, others by how I felt.
We live in a very dynamic world - all that we witness and experience is usually very brief, fleeting. These paintings are like quick notes taken in a sketchbook - but sometimes tell stories and depict beauty difficult to be locked in just few words.
They are like slides - to remind me what caught my attention, what occupied my soul. They are dynamic, quite simple - just like a quick note on a sheet of paper.

During the last weeks of June once driving here and there the Author kept noticing beautiful, vivid red poppies in numerous spots along her way. They just could not get out of her head.. so they appeared in an abstract poppy-inspired quotation using vibrant reds, yellow and black. A little bit like a narcotic vision... as poppies contain opiates - but do rest assured, no drugs were ever taken while painting this piece.
