Original artwork description:

The face of the man depicted is composed of puzzle pieces arranged in an orderly and precise manner, in order to simulate the behavior of a person with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
The arrangement of the pieces is only seemingly symmetrical, indicating how much the control that a subject with OCD seeks to operate is not possible and cannot be extended to every aspect of interaction with self and the world.
A piece has been removed from the representation, to make the viewer experience a sense of lack and frustration, and to make the viewer feel, in a small part, what an obsessive-compulsive person feels when they cannot act out a compulsion.

The artwork will be sold with an MDF black frame and a plexiglas panel.

Size without frame: 59.4 x 42 cm (23,4 x 16,5 in)
Size including frame: 75 x 55 x 1,5 cm (29,5 x 21,7 x 0,6 in)

The artwork is hand-signed and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The framed artwork is ready to hang in a very protective package and shipped by traceable courier.

The usual shipping time outside the European Union is around 20 working days, because a shipping document issued by Ufficio delle Belle Arti is required in order to get the artwork through customs.

Regarding shipments to EU this artwork will be packaged in a cardboard box, as for shipments to countries outside the EU it will be packaged in a wooden crate.
