Ninfa III" is part of the studies that the artist makes on the relationship between women and nature. This is a theme that frequently returns in Letizia's art because nature with its forms and expressions is her primary source of inspiration .
The nymphs in classical mythology were in fact the protective deities of nature in all its forms and it is precisely by keeping faith with this idea that the artist paints his nymph wrapped in leaves or flower petals but also in textures that refer to the animal world, which "stain" and run through the nymph's body like tattoos. It is a figure suspended between reality and fantasy but strong connected with nature.
Ninfa III is executed with a mixed technique using acrylic paint, alcohol inks, acrylic markers and collage of veiled papers.
