Inspired by the calaca, figure of a skull or human skeleton, commonly used for decoration during the Day of the Dead festival.
This work is part of a series of mixed media works on canvas in which I first paint the canvas with abstract shapes in acrylic and then print a black and white digital drawing. Part of the idea that digital art can be accessible and unique, since no piece is going to be the same as another, they are all original. It is born from the need to go to digital media to help me in my artistic creation.
Acrylic on canvas for inkjet photographic printing / inkjet printing, finishing varnish.
