My latest painting "Killer on the Road" was inspired by the pulp detective magazines that were popular from 1930s to the 1950s - I appropriated a cover from the 1930s and juxtaposed an image of a crazed man driving erratically through a wheat field. I have incorporated the words on the magazine cover "Every Story True".
