This work came from a personal photograph taken of children playing on a Turtle sculpture which was temporary parked on an industrial estate. I was drawn to work from this image because it felt like a dream to me. I feel that it signifies those child hood experiences where reality and fantasy so easily intermingle. I also enjoy the environmental connotations of the positioning of the turtle in-amongst an industrial- even apocalyptic environment.
Acrylic paint on canvas board- framed in a white wooden frame.
