Description:
I spent nearly a week hiking along Oregon’s rugged coastline in search of this uniquely majestic sea stack. I’ve always held a deep fascination for these incredible rock formations jetting up from the ocean’s floor. I set up my tripod and camera on the sand and waited from before dawn until early evening. The fog had begun to roll in and I knew my time was running out. As the sun steadily made its way towards the horizon, the sky lit up with these amazingly beautiful hues. At the crucial moment, I began rapidly firing my camera’s shutter. Looking at the final image, the seascape had taken on a surreal, almost fairytale quality. Truly one of the most breathtaking and idyllic views I’ve ever captured.
*Hahnemuhle fine art gallery paper, 100% cotton, 308 gsm using archival pigment inks.
