Original artwork description:

"Maybe it wasn't a desert, maybe it was once a lake, with migrating flamingos and rippling fresh water fish. Perhaps it wasn't a lake, but part of the sea, with salt encrusted edges and pink hues that shimmered at dusk. The backdrop of the hills, or low lying mountains could have been home to shepherds and grazing sheep. Perhaps it was simply home to the bush and to the bumblebees. Maybe it was."

A travel inspired and climate concerned painting done in acrylic, ink and sand on high quality canvas with a UV protective varnish. The work is signed on the front and the back of the canvas.

Materials used:

acrylic, ink, sand
