In this piece I painted a happy-go-lucky corgi. The corgis stand out among the dogs not only because of their large ears and short legs, but also because of their charming personality and great smile. Even though I do not have a little corgi companion, I still cannot help but love them, don't you?
The painting is created using the freehand painting style known as the Chinese painting (or Japanese sumie), over rice paper and then hand-mounted. This kind of painting captures the spirit of the animals vividly, the flow and the ambience of the world naturally follows.
Details:
- Original freehand brush painting, over rice paper
- Size: 30cm x 46cm / 12''x18''
- Contains signature seal from the artist
Rice Paper, Ink, Colour
