ART WORK CONCEPT:
A thunderstorm, clouds enshrouded the city, people are hiding in cozy apartments. Meanwhile hail-whales roam the expanses of the sky.
Barcelona is a city where rain appears to be a rare friend and hail is considered an anomaly. This unusual phenomenon prompted me to paint this canvas.
TECHNIQUE:
The artwork is painted on gallery wrap primed canvas and is ready for hanging. I used acrylic because of its brightness and mobility. The painting is made in the genre of magical realism.
AUTHORS CONCEPT:
All my artworks are based on real events and deeply personal experiences, which I express through metaphorical appeals, surrealistic forms and variety of signs. All buildings, objects, people at pictures are real and based on my memories, photos and real life models.
