Original artwork description:

"I try to thank the sea. Thank the sea for being my teacher. And so I fish.
Most days I go to its shores to fish for rubbish. Plastic caps, styrofoam icebergs, cigarette stubs, plastic bottles, bits of toys, straws and fishing line. I find lonely shoes and single lens glasses, boat parts and plastic 'pebbles'. I try my best to pick up what the winter storms have spat out. I try to give thanks to the sea for teaching me how to breath, listen, smell and see with such intent and delight. Living by the water faces you with the fragile reality of our natural world and inspires you to cherish it."
