Painted on-site in Ellison Bay, Door County, WI. Features a view of the bay seen from atop a hill, framed by rich green grass, trees, and shrubs. The scene is accented by late summer flowers in gold and purple.
Painted in oil over casein paint on board. running and dripping effects in the sky and water were created with casein paint. The matte texture of the casein contrasts with the thicker, glossier oil paint in the foliage.
Framed in a 1.5" wide wood frame washed with a light blue finish. 22.5" tall by 18.5" wide by 1" deep framed. May be purchased unframed by request.
