Chester has some wonderful old architecture, one day I popped out from my gallery to do some sketching and found these two guys chatting on the Rows. The Rows are Chester's two-tier shopping area, dating back to mediaeval times. Charcoal is the perfect medium for capturing the unique atmosphere of the Rows.
