Original artwork description:

As I got fascinated by the ephemeral and the play of light in layered clouds of acrylic colorfields I made a whole series of faces, or features of faces that were made up by blots and dots rather than by line.
Because of the absence of outlines that indicate form in these artworks,
the viewer receives an open invitation to construct the image themselves.
In this horizontal work the harmony is found between the very present white background and it's openness to receive the different blots of uplifting colors.

The composition is balanced because of it's color more than because of representational value.

The translucent colorfields may remind the public of watercolor,
but I have used the far more durable acrylic paint for these artworks.
