A study of the beloved Bumblebee tucking into a beautiful flower. I wanted to capture the details using tiny brush strokes of dense colour combined with delicate layered washes to give energy & movement to the piece.
The canvas is a 3.5cm deep box “Loxley Gold” which has a high quality internal frame. The painting is precise to the edge & is natural canvas off white around the sides.
