Original artwork description:

The daily ritual in fishing villages of going out to sea and returning home, after setting traps or dropping lines, is timeless. The shape of the figure echoes the work of British sculptor Henry Moore. I greatly admire his ability to express so much of humanity with minimal shape. The piece is ready to hang with out a frame with a wire on the back. It is signed on the back and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Materials used:

oil paint on 12 oz. cotton duct canvas stretched over 1.5"x 2" wooden frame, acrylic base primer, damar varnish top coat
