The flower on the right is a magenta colored peony with white and light pink highlights and dark red shadows. The shapes of the petals are enhanced by paint thickly applied with both palette knife and brush. The flowers are accented by green leaves and a background fo dark green and light green with drops and splashes of orange, red, and pink. Running and dripping effects in the background were created with casein paint, then glazed over with oil. Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with a mahogany colored finish. 7.5" tall by 21.5" wide by 1" deep framed. May be purchased unframed by request.
