Inspired by the architecture of England. This highly textured acrylic piece features a depth of studies and techniques.
Born through my watercolour and ink studies of the city of Bath, Somerset, the accentuated colour ranges from the dark sky and the stone buildings offer up a rich narrative. There's expression in every area. The paint was applied with a knife and lots of primary colours to encourage high contrast and depth.
