Ayrton Senna achieved his first F1 Grand Prix win in dominant style, at the Portuguese Grand Prix in 1985. Held during torrential rain, Senna started from pole and lapped most of the field during the race, establishing himself as the wet-weather specialist.
This painting focuses on the front end of the beautiful Lotus Renault 97T, complete with sky reflections down the nose cone and rain droplets on the front wing panels.
