This Gongbi brush painting (or sumie) features a branch of red leaves and two grosbeak birds. It is a corner in the world that is tranquil, where we can rest our minds and focus our energy. 

The title is a poem sentence written in cursive calligraphy script that says "停車坐愛楓林晚，霜葉紅於二月花", originally composed by the great Tang Dynasty poet, Du Mu, it describes an autumn scenery that is too charming that he had to pause and gaze at it, where the red leaves were more radiant than the Spring flowers.
