Inspired by the beautiful Acer next to my garden pond, this painting in acrylic on canvas is a real dash of bright colour. Some of the many red paints I've used are slightly metallic, and the gold leaf in the background makes it glow with warmth. The resin coating is very glossy, and adds a sleek finish. The painting continues around the edges of the deep box canvas, and it is strung with cord and ready to hang.
