McCullock's aluminium resin paintings are constructed in layers. Initially in a gestural manner, then becoming more complex with each layer. By adding colour and cells she obscures the metal base. The final layer is purely creating the unique texture- the defining indicator of Rachel's work.

The calming panoply of turquoise, teals and aqua are mood enhancing and exude a wow factor.
Many layers of resin have been applied to the highly textured heart and surrounding background. The surface of the painting is mirror finish gloss resin. The aluminium panel has been firmly secured to a box edge canvas whose sides have been painted alleviating the need to frame. It is signed on the reverse, and supplied with hardware, ready to pop straight onto your wall.
