This small sculpture I’ve made as a memory of Marie Curie who died on July 4, 1934, of aplastic anaemia, believed to be caused by prolonged exposure to radiation. She sacrificed her life discovering something danger and new something what is mysterious but also something that caused her death. I was also inspired by Auguste Rodin sculptures. Carving brings life and memory to the stone.
