As the summer of 2020 drew to a close and before walks in the countyside were once more banned because of Covid I took a walk in the woods surrounding the River Tardoire. The sun was low in the sky, lighting my way through the green shade. This picture is a result of that walk. Spending more time in my studio because of lockdown I hope I was able to capture the green stillness and the light at the end of the tunnel.
This watercolour is painted on Arches 100% cotton 300gm watercolour paper with Winsor Newton professional watercolour paints.
It is sold framed with a light beech frame and a mount and backboard under glass and will be extremely well packaged to protect it during shipment.
